Terms and Conditions
1. Rental period and rental rate
The rental rate applies exclusively to consecutive rental days.
2. Weather conditions and other impairments
Adverse weather conditions or other hindrances do not absolve the hirer of the obligation to pay the agreed rental rate.
3. Injury or illness during the rental period
In the event of the customer’s injury or illness during the rental period, the following provisions apply upon presentation of a medical certificate or medical confirmation: a) The rented equipment must be returned immediately. b) No further rental fees will be charged from the date of issue of the medical certificate. c) The customer will receive a corresponding credit or refund for rental days that have already been paid for but not yet used, calculated from the date of issue of the medical certificate.
4. Injury or illness without medical confirmation
If no medical certificate or confirmation is submitted in the event of injury or illness, the full rental rate for the agreed rental period will be charged.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your reservation no later than 48 hours before the start of the rental period.

6. Transfer of Rental Equipment
It is prohibited to lend rental equipment to other people.
7. Nominal Fee, Damage,
and Theft
Upon signing the agreement or paying a nominal fee, the rental equipment is insured against breakage, damage, and theft.
In the event of theft, a police report must be filed immediately.
If no nominal fee is paid, an deductible corresponding to the respective category will be charged in the event of damage or theft:
BASIC Category: €100
TOP Category: €200
VIP Category: €400
PLATINUM Category: €500
STÖCKLI / Van Deer Category: €600
8. Model and Category Changes
You may switch to a different model of the reserved sports equipment within the pre-booked category.
If you switch to sports equipment in a higher category, you must pay the corresponding surcharge according to the price list in effect at the location.
9. Responsibility and Careful Handling of Rental Equipment
The customer is responsible for the rental item throughout the entire rental period and must use it carefully and properly in accordance with its intended function and conditions of use.
The customer must ensure that the rental item is stored in such a way as to prevent mix-ups, loss, or theft as much as possible.
Unless appropriate insurance or a protection fee has been purchased, the rental item is not insured against damage or theft.
10. Using Your Own Skis with Rental Ski Boots
If you use your own skis with rented ski boots, you are required to have your ski bindings inspected and adjusted in accordance with the applicable ISO/ÖNORM standards.
A fee of €19.00 will be charged for this inspection and adjustment.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, no liability is assumed for accidents and resulting damages. In particular, the lessor is not liable for damages resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.
12. Sales Tax
All prices quoted include 20% VAT, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
13. Jurisdiction
The place of jurisdiction is, to the extent legally permissible, Innsbruck, Austria.
14. Calculation for Late Pickup or Early Return
For rentals after 3:00 PM, the corresponding calendar day will not be charged. Billing will only begin on the following calendar day.
If the rental equipment is returned before 10:00 AM, the relevant calendar day will also not be charged.
15. Data protection and marketing
Personal data disclosed by the customer via this website will be processed in accordance with applicable national and European data protection regulations for the purpose of handling inquiries, bookings and online reservations.
Personal data will only be used for marketing purposes, for example for sending a newsletter, with the customer's explicit consent.
Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future and without additional costs by sending an email to info@sport-seppl.at .
